Scoutmasters honored

On March 25, 2025, Troop 21 Scoutmasters Jennifer and Marcus Errico were awarded one of BSA’s highest honors, the National Medal of Merit, at the Greater Los Angeles Council annual recognition dinner. They were recognized for “performing an act of service of a rare or exceptional character that reflects an
uncommon degree of concern for the well-being of others” for their actions during the Eaton Fire. They were among the first to spot and report the fire and then went door to door alerting neighbors to evacuate.
